Electronic Copies of Obituary Source
Starting in July, 2006, we are also collecting an
electronic copy of the source of the obituary. For example, if an
obituary was found on a website, we will now have available either a PDF
or JPG of that obituary as it is listed on that website. If the
obituary is submitted through an e-mail, we will have a PDF of that
e-mail. If the obituary is submitted via the postal mail, the obituary
will be scanned and stored as a JPG. Please e-mail
Colleen Blizard, if you want an
electronic copy of an obituary. |
Submitting Obituary Information
Obituary information can be submitted by e-mail or
postal mail. Please e-mail obituary information to
Colleen Blizard or postal mail it
to Colleen Blizard, 5296 Fleming Road, Mount Airy, MD 21771. Obituaries
can be sent in their entirety, or, if it is a website, you can submit
just the website address (URL).
Please submit obituaries even if it does not
contain all of the information that we collect. |

The PRA Obituary Editor posts obituaries on the
Pennington Message Board as they are entered into the Pennington
Research Association Obituary Database.
The Pennington Message Board is a great place to
post questions you may have about the Pennington family. You can also
request opinions on how to get passed a brick wall you may have run into
in your research.
The message boards may also be searched by entering
data in the search box. To search only the Pennington Message Board,
make sure that the Pennington Board radio button is selected, it
defaults to All Boards. Then click on the Go! Button. |
