No. 1 - Tree where Tom Fool used to stand to direct people he didn't like to the quicksand bogs. The tree is across the driveway from the castle on the edge of the slope.

No. 3 - Muncaster Castle from path going down to gardens around the church. There is a deep ravine between the castle and this path with beautiful flowering trees and shrubs covering it.

Tom Fool's Tree

Muncaster Castle

Tom the Fool was the Castle's jester.  He enjoyed murder.  Haunts the castle looking for food.  Phrase "Tom Foolery" comes from this Tom.
